| Peace Bungalow – its former name – was established in 1977 on Bophut Beach, Koh Samui by the Pupaiboon family who privately owned and developed their hotel business. The latest renovation in 2007 transformed Peace Bungalow into ‘Peace Resort’ to better reflect the standards of food, service and accommodation. This new style is best described as contemporary Thai with architecture that reflects local traditions and craftsmanship.
Further renovations will take place in May and June of 2011. During this period the resort will be closed. Everyone at Peace Resort very much looks forward to welcoming you whether for the first time or as a returning guest. The 31 deluxe bungalows come in two styles but with the same comfort. There’s a couch that can become a bed for a small child in one style and another without offering a more spacious bedroom. Some also feature connecting doors. The wooden bungalows without the couch are similar to the superior bungalows in layout and furnishings, but the bathtub and the additional ten square metres make quite a difference.
