Montra is a stunning boutique hotel situated in Lamai and is a short stroll from the centre of town.

The resort consists of just eight luxury villas situated around one of the most beautiful pools in Koh Samui, all set in three rai (one acre) of lush tropical gardens. To enter the resort you have to duck under an antique Thai gate, once inside the atmosphere really does help you relax and lends the feeling that you are somewhere special.

The whole resort is immaculately presented and the villas suites are gorgeous and lavishly equipped with elegant furnishings, high-end audio and visual equipment and thoughtful touches like iPod connections and free WiFi. The interior design is metropolitan with a delicate Asian influence. Our suites are great fun to stay in with their four poster beds and steps from your bedroom leading directly into the pool.

Because of its intimate size, Montra is perfect for a private party, reunions, birthday celebrations, yoga retreats or weddings. Given enough advance warning, we will be happy to block-book the resort and can tailor packages to individual requirements.

Montra is just one km from Lamai Beach; Lamai has two km of white sandy beach with lots of little cafes and restaurants dotted along the shoreline. On the southern tip of Lamai Beach you will find the famous Hin Ta Hin Yai natural rock formation which is also a great location for snorkelling.

Our nine luxurious villas are situated in lush tropical gardens dominated by an elegant swimming pool. All villas are 63 square meters and offer a master bedroom with a high ceiling, top quality bed and linens; the living room comes equipped with all the modern amenities; the 14 square meters bathroom offers both an open shower with a bathtub designed for two with twin headrests and double sinks.

Sparkling Wine and canapés are served after the ceremony is complete, and the decoration and arrangement of the honeymoon suite is also included, plus a bottle of Sparkling Wine for the bride and groom.

We also have several options available including wedding cakes, professional photography, make-up and hair, private dinners or barbecues, fireworks, western or Thai musicians, spa treatments for the bride and groom, etc.Montra 's is able to accommodate wedding parties of up to 30 people at the resort itself, or we can cater for groups of up to 40-50 people if staying outside.
