Thailand has about 200 golf courses where more than 100 of them met international standards.  Some of them are even recognized international for outstanding quality and standards. 

Nearly 50% of all golf courses are found in and around the city of Bangkok, all reachable within 2-3 hours drive from Bangkok.

Generally, courses in Bangkok are highly utilize and cost more than those courses that are further away with the exception of courses in Phuket and Koh Samui. 

As such, golfers without pre-booking are more likely to get tee-off times for courses further away from Bangkok, even during weekdays.  In Bangkok, some courses are private club which only cater to members and their guests.

However, these clubs are willing to accept a booking for visitors also. The starting green fees of such clubs are price according to the handicap rating of the players.

CLUB RULES : MEN & LADIES DRESS CODES

MEN

• Shirts with collar and sleeves are required

• Slacks, golf shorts or walking shorts are considered appropriate

WOMEN

• Shirt with collar and sleeves are considered appropriate

• Slacks, mid length shorts or mid length skirt are considered appropriate

PROPER FOOTWEAR

• Only soft spike or spike less golf shoes and rubber-soled sports shoes are allowed on the golf course, practice green area and driving range

• Any footwear that damages the greens is strictly forbidden

NOT ALLOWED

Tank tops, T-shirts, fishnet tops, halter-tops, bathing suits, sweats, athletic shorts, blue jeans or denim stacks or shorts

PLAYING RULES

• Please make reservation in advance

• The club allows 4 balls/group, minimum is 2 balls/group

• Estimated playing time for a 18 holes game is 4 hours 30 minutes

• Please be as considerate to the group behind you as you would like the one in front to be to you

• Non-golfer/spectators are not allowed on the course

• Golf cart and caddy is compulsory (One cart for one golfer and caddy only)
